Connect Your Ad Accounts

Connecting During Onboarding

When you first set up Prism, connecting your platforms is part of the onboarding flow:

  1. After setup, select your primary ad platform. Only platforms covered in your contract can be connected (full list linked here)
    • You can add more ad platforms anytime in Integrations, depending on your plan.
  2. Complete the authentication process for your chosen platform
  3. Select at least one platform to get started
    • Important: The timezone and currency settings from this first platform will set the defaults for your brand
    • All future platforms connected to this brand must match these settings

Note: If you're not ready to connect your accounts during onboarding, you can skip this step and connect them later through Integrations.

Connecting Through Integrations

Before connecting the platforms, ensure you have:

  • Access to the platforms you want to connect
  • The correct timezone and currency settings for your brand
  • Appropriate permissions in Prism (Organization Admin or Brand Admin)

Step 1: Access Integrations

  1. Navigate to the Control Center at the bottom of the left panel
  2. Select "Integrations"
  3. Choose your preferred platform

Step 2: Platform Authorization

For Meta (Facebook) Accounts:

  1. Click "+Add Ad Account" button at the top right
  2. Complete Meta's OAuth authentication process and grant necessary permissions when prompted
  3. Your available platforms will be displayed

For Google Ads:

  1. Click "Connect Google Ads"
  2. Complete Google's authorization steps
  3. Your available platforms will be displayed to select

Step 3: Select Ad Accounts

When viewing available platforms, you'll see different states:

Available Accounts

  • These accounts are ready to connect and match the Brand’s Timezone and Currency
  • You will find a checkbox available to click and select the account
  • Connection status would be blank for these accounts as these aren’t connected yet

Already Connected Accounts

  • Displays "Connected to another Brand" under connection status
  • Shows which brand the account is already connected to
  • Cannot be selected for connection but access can be requested from the Admins of that Brand

Incompatible Accounts

  • Displays "Cannot connect" under connection status
  • It is usually due to a timezone/currency mismatch
  • These accounts cannot be selected for connection
